Etude House vs The Face Shop...

Okay, the main question that I often ask people (Well, excluding the list of things I normally ask... Hehe...) whenever I'm out with them in places like Sunway Pyramid is what is the difference between these two, 'Etude House' and 'The Face Shop'... And most of them normally just tell which one they prefer... If you're wondering why I don't know the difference between these two and you do, and if you think that this is a pretty silly thing to blog about... Well, I have a confession... I am not really all that into make-up... In other words, I don't use any... (If you're holding your breath at the HORROR of that confession, well, I'm sorry you find that so hard to believe... Haha... Because I am what I am...) Anyway, I was kinda curious... YES! So curious that I had to look it up... (Oh, just admit it... You like to google things up too.... If you don't.... =P)




1. Their shops stand out because of their colour theme... PINK! YES! BRIGHT PINK! It's not so pink that it's scary but rather a sweet girlish pink...

2. Their products are all made in Korea


3. Their spokespersons are a famous Korean actor (Lee Minho) and actress (Park Shin Hye)

4. It's been around for a long time... Since 1966... (WHOA!) But only started specializing in cosmetics in 1996...

5. It's products are available in 9 countries (including Korea)

4. I'm not sure where their products are available in but from the information I've obtained it would seem that they are already in the worldwide market.

5. Their colour theme is green... Well, that is if I'm not mistaken... Green! As in the pleasant kind of green... It has a nature like feel to it...

Hmm... Well, that was about the end of my short (superbly) write up on The Face Shop and Etude House... It's really up to a person to decide the shops they prefer... I mean both the shops sell cosmetic but when it comes down to the shade and price, it may vary from one another... And it also depends a lot on an individuals budget as well...
