Well, I've taken a trip to Melaka lately and came across this really cool structure of a snowman covered with sparkling blue lights (twinkling even....) in one of the shopping malls, specifically speaking, one of the 2 Jusco supermarket available in Melaka.... From afar, the snowman looked like any other part of the decorations... Silver, blue and shinning.... It blended well with the decorations surrounding it... However, unlike the other decorations, the snowman structure loomed at a magnificent height of 10 metres. The height was not the only magnificent thing about the structure, as there has obviously been higher if not the same height structures in other malls, but the fact that it was made out of recycled bottles, 15 000 bottles nonetheless, attracted the attention of holiday shoppers. The snowman structure quickly became somewhat a main attraction in the mall and many shoppers would take the time to take a break from their Christmas shopping to pose with the fascinating structure standing proudly in the heart of the mall. Okay, here's the thing... We had SuJu, MBLAQ, SHINee, SS501, 4Minute, 2NE1 and many more KPop stars to thank South Korea for but the latest groups are beginning to seem more and more ridiculous. I mean when I first found out about the band, Double B 21, I was like seriously? But I lived with it because they're an all boy group, so, maybe the Korean music company formed the group to help satisfy the fan-girls need of an idol while groups such as Super Junior and MBLAQ take a break from promoting their comeback albums. However, the shock I felt today as I was reading the news about a brand new girl group debuting was much worse... This is mainly because they're all girls in the 6th grade and aged between the ages of 14 to 16. I was really caught off guard as they did not look like they were so young in their video. But enough said, they do have the talent and much more to offer but seriously, for them to debut at such a young age would mean that they may not be able to lead a normal childhood... Which is really such a waste as they look like really gifted artists... Maybe if they had debut later, they would be able to control their lives better... But what's been done can't be undone... So, I'm wishing GP Basic all the best for the future... GP Basic FIGHTING!!!
There was a scraping sound on my window. It grew louder with every minute. The sound started around midnight. It was 10 minutes pass midnight now. The wind outside caused a nearby oak tree to sway. As that happened, it's branches would occasionally brush against my window. Maybe that's what it was, I told myself unconvincingly. A sudden gush of wind, caused the tree to scrape against my window with more force. Suddenly, my window started to rattle. The frame of my window seemed so weak all of a sudden, as if a sudden push could cause it to open, exposing me to the harsh wind. A shiver ran down my spine, I was frozen in place, unable to lift the blanket from above my head to see what was the actual cause of the sound. Each passing moment only made me shake more vigorously. Every ticking of the clock nearby was heard, every creaking made by the house next door as the wind passed through did not go by unnoticed. I was scared beyond reasons of something unknown. I did not know the source of the strange noise nor was I courageous enough to look for it. After a while, the sound of the rattling started to slow down. When it was barely noticeable, I peeped from underneath my blanket. I stood up slowly and started for the window. When I pulled back the curtain, I nearly screamed in fear, as standing on my window still, as still as can be, was a BAT!!! It was pressed against my window. The wind was much too strong for it to continue flying, so, the bat had no choice but to land on my window still. It had it's back faced to me. It was looking at the swaying tree as the wind passed by, with nothing but misery on it's face. It was night fall. The bat had crawled out from the comfort of it's home to look for some food, only to get trapped outside in the harsh, icy wind. ~to be continued~
Well, I've OFFICIALLY joined the high-ranking people who are in college... Haha... Nah, I'm just joking... I mean not about the college part but rather the high-ranking part... Anyway, I've been in college for a week now (including Monday which was orientation day)... Hmm... What can I say? Other than college has been pretty awesome... Haha... I'm currently in Taylor's College taking International Canadian Pre-U (ICPU)... The lecturers are mostly Canadians... Now, how sweet is that?! Haha... Anyway, I'm only taking 3 subjects this semester (Physics, Advanced Functions and English) and it seems easy but it's not... I mean there's gonna be A LOT of work piling in soon... It's just a matter of when... Anyhow, I've been slacking and falling behind on my blogging lately... And I'm not surprised to see that most of my friends' blogs have ceased to exist... YES! We're actually that busy... Well, actually I think mainly it's because we have TONS of homework nowadays... Hmm... My plan initially was to shut down this blog as I think not many people read this... But hey, I realized that I need a place to vent and this blog has been with me for a VERY long time... If I'm not mistaken, it's been around since the year 2006... YES! A total of 4 years!!!Haha... Well, for those of you who have visited my blog before, you'll probably notice the change in layout... From really dark to really pink and purple... Haha... I'm not any different... I just thought it'll be fun to have a different colour other than black for a change... Well, I've got to say that it's still a bit too pink for my taste but hey, I could get use to it... Anyway, as you can see from my previous post, which was dated about a month ago, that I haven't really been updating my blog lately... For all SS501 fans out there, they will be making a comeback with a brand new album and look on the 1st of May or 05/01/2010 (MM/DD/YY)... It is still unclear whether they'll be releasing a mini album or a full album but we'll know when they comeback... Until then, we have to wait patiently for news about the new album... This is getting more surreal each and every time... TVXQ did it again... They managed to beat the record held by Bon Jovi for the last 14 years ago... Is it me or are they just really talented? On the 22nd, TVXQ has sold approximately 413,000 copies of their Best Selection 2o10 album. The album now has the most sales ever for a foreign group in the Japanese music industry.
The album count will keep rising, as it wasn’t long since it’s release. Let’s see if they can reach the… 1 million sales mark!

SHINee’s leader Onew will join the list of idols-turned-musical-stars with his lead role of Joo-Bong in Brothers Were Brave from April 1st to June 20th in Coex Theaters.
The musical, which was first opened in 2008, was critically acclaimed. It was based on two brothers that never got along, who went back to their hometown to find a hefty fortune in their father’s will. The two grow closer during their adventure. The younger sibling, which will be played by Onew, feels like he got the short end of the stick. He has a bit of a temper, but is a highly educated man, having graduated from Seoul University, known to be Korea’s best university. During their adventure, the two set their differences aside and eventually develop a strong brotherly relationship with one another.
In his first musical, Onew will also be partaking in a kiss scene, surprising many people, but building even more anticipation.
The production staff said, “Onew is doing a musical for the first time. Jessica of SNSD was very successful with Legally Blonde even though it was her first time as well. These days, the idols are very good in the fields of singing and dancing. Not only that, they try very hard at everything they do so I think he will do great.”
SM Entertainment, Onew’s company, said, “After he got cast for this musical, he started practicing his singing, dancing and acting. He is working hard to bring a nice performance on stage.”

On the 6th of February 2010, SHINee performed at the K-Pop Festival in Sapporo, Japan... The next day, the members decided to pay a visit to an orphanage located in the city to put the smiles on the little children faces... When they got there, they gave the children shirts that had Korean on it, Korean snacks and Korean stuffed animals to introduce the kids to the Korean culture... After giving every child the gifts, the members of SHINee and the 60 children from the orphanage split up into teams and played some games. Later, the children were all even given an opportunity to perform for SHINee... Meanwhile, as the SHINee members were enjoying their time with the children, Sapporo TV was recording every minute of the event... Hence, gaining the guys a lot of admiration and praises from their Japanese fans... When asked to comment about their time spent in the orphanage the guys responded by saying that, “It was for a short period of time but we made a lot of memories in Sapporo. Meeting these children made this trip more meaningful. If we get the chance to, we want to visit Sapporo again.”
*SHINee is wrapping up an Asia promotion by hitting Hong Kong on the 12th, Cambodia on the 21st and Fukuoka on the 27th.

Oh my goodness!!! You guys wouldn't believe this!!! DBSK/TVXQ/Tohoshinki have done it!!! They've broken the record set by Elton John... Following the tragic death of Princess Diana in the late 1997, Sir Elton John released a single in her memory which sold 184 000 units and held the record for a foreign artist with the most initial single sales and has been unbeatable until today... TVXQ/DBSK/Tohoshinki initial sales for Break Out! was a whopping 254,000 units, breaking the old record by 70,000. Besides that, they also broke their own record of having the most #1 singles for a foreign artist as this marks their 7th single to hit number one. Isn't that awesome??? Haha... Well, I hope they continue climbing the ladder of success and maybe... possibly... Take a detour and drop by in Malaysia sometimes... ^^

The Korean Contemporary Boy Band, SHINee had a fan signing event in Singapore yesterday on the 31/01/2010... It was held in Chua Chu Kang, Lot 1 Shopping Center and fans started queuing from 12 midnight the night before (30/01/10) just to catch a glimpse of their favourite band... Interesting... I was watching KBS (channel 303 on Astro) just the other day and heard that one of the Korean music industry were going to be introducing a new girl band to the Korean music scene... They are named G7... However, before that they will be acting in a reality show whereby they have to live away from the city somewhere in the mountains to experience the life of a farmer... They have hinted that the song will be an electronic pop song... They will be releasing the album on the 30th of this month at the MBC Music Core when they make their comeback... Let's hope that the songs in the 2nd album is as successful and fun as the previous one...
According to a very reliable KPop website, www.allkpop.com, the leader of the Korean boy band, 2PM (managed by JYPE), Jaebeom has received a lot of calls to star as the male lead in a b-boy Hollywood flick by the title of Hype Nation. Apparently, there has already been a lot of rumours about this movie circulating the net ever since BoA and San Dambi, who were both suppose to be stars in the movie, declined and/or pulled out. Anyway, the producer of the movie is really eagered to have Jaebeom star in the movie and have already approached the JYP Entertainment with their offer. JYP Entertainment is said to currently be reviewing the offer and discussing whether they should accept the offer or not. However, when JYP Entertainment were asked about it recently, they simply just said that they did not know about it. So, no one really knows for sure what's really going on except that JYPE is going to be keeping mum about any action about to be taken. It looks as if the future for the band, 2PM is meek especially since a representative from JYPE has reported that it is very doubtful that Jaebeom will be returning to his band. However, as it is all unofficial, it would seem that 2PM's fans would just have to wait patiently for the truth...

Lately, I think I've been hit seriously with a bad case of the Korean songs obsession... All right, I think I'm exaggerating when I said obsessed... Or am I? Haha... Okay, I'm just kidding... I've just started to appreciate Korean pop songs... Hey, you can't really blame me... I've got to admit that some of the songs are pretty awesome... Even if I can't really understand the songs sometimes... Hehe... But hey, 'Music is Universal', right? All right, I'm addressing all Form 5s of 2009, my ex-schoolmates and well, anyone who actually takes the time to read this and don't know what to do with their time... Well, as you know most of us have plenty of free time on our hands excluding those who already started college... So, if you're a little like me, you'll be bored out of your minds unless you're like some of my friends who takes pleasure in participating in online games for mind numbing hours on the computer every day (no insult, if you're reading this guys... It's just an example...).... So, I've decided to come out with a few ideas that you can try out if you desperately trying to pass your time or simply want a little adventure...
The LIST: 1.)If you're into thrills and outdoor activities, you can try going for 'Skytrex' which is located in Shah Alam... It's a obstacle course suspended some 17 to 22 meters of the ground... Yes, that high! Get this, it's suspended in the air! So, it'll actually feel as if you're surrounded by nature... This obstacle course takes overcoming your fears to a whole new level... I would know seeing as I did it already! Haha... If you wanna know more, just visit the website...
2.) Pick up a book and READ!!! That way, you not only learn new stuff but improving your imagination which would be totally helpful in the future...
3.) You could go on trips to nearby places such as Port Dickson and hold Go-Kart races with your friends in the circuit...
4.) Take a drive to the beach to unwind... There's one in Malacca, Penang and even Port Dickson... So, don't even think of saying that there's no beaches nearby...
5.) If you don't mind the sea, you could participate in some water sports such as water skiing, jet skiing, para sailing and loads more... There's a place in Malacca that I went to with my cousins... It's located in Malacca..
You guys DON'T have to do what I listed, after all they're just suggestions... But in other words, GO WILD and do something FUN, EXCITING and STOP doing things that does you NO good... Okay, I've gotta go...
Well, there have been many theories circulating the web (or internet) lately about the end of the world as we know it... It may seem like random rumours or made up stories to some however, it is undeniable that there are others out there who believe in these theories one way or another... I mean it is known as different things by people of different religions such as the Hindus believe that Vishnu would destroy Earth whereas Christians all over the world fear the Apocalypse prophesied in the final book of the bible and the Mayans predicted the end many thousand of years ago through their calender but it all still adds up to one thing... The world as we know it is coming to an end... However, scientists have of late been showing us evidence that those theories are wrong...
So, who do we need to trust??? The evidence proven or the fact that it has been clearly stated in the religion we all believe in??? Well, it is not my place to choose... I mean I won't say that I don't believe in these theories but I think that whatever happens- Well, it has all been plan many years ago by a power greater than any of us... So, I guess all we really have to do is keep believing and having faith... As they say, 'God hears all you have to say...'! So, if you're really confused and don't know what to believe in just don't bother thinking about it... Whatever will be, will be... Live every day to the fullest... And keep having faith!!!!
