I need to have you by my side,
My heart longs for you to return,
To be by my side once more,
My heart cries out for you,
In the middle of the night when all is calm,
I toss and I turn,
Each and every night,
Your face constantly haunting my every waking hour,
Reminding me of the pain you left me with,
And what used to be,
I know it from the emptiness deep within me,
From the hollowness inside,
That you are no longer standing by me,
But still I hold on to the dream that maybe someday,
You'll come back to me....
