On the 6th of February 2010, SHINee performed at the K-Pop Festival in Sapporo, Japan... The next day, the members decided to pay a visit to an orphanage located in the city to put the smiles on the little children faces... When they got there, they gave the children shirts that had Korean on it, Korean snacks and Korean stuffed animals to introduce the kids to the Korean culture... After giving every child the gifts, the members of SHINee and the 60 children from the orphanage split up into teams and played some games. Later, the children were all even given an opportunity to perform for SHINee... Meanwhile, as the SHINee members were enjoying their time with the children, Sapporo TV was recording every minute of the event... Hence, gaining the guys a lot of admiration and praises from their Japanese fans... When asked to comment about their time spent in the orphanage the guys responded by saying that, “It was for a short period of time but we made a lot of memories in Sapporo. Meeting these children made this trip more meaningful. If we get the chance to, we want to visit Sapporo again.”
*SHINee is wrapping up an Asia promotion by hitting Hong Kong on the 12th, Cambodia on the 21st and Fukuoka on the 27th.
