WARNING: IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED THE MOVIE, 'EASY A' YET, PLEASE DO NOT PROCEED ANY FURTHER WITH THIS POST... IT MAY END UP BECOMING A SPOILER!!!! It may come off as another chick flick or rather teenage movie at first glance but it really isn't... There's a lesson behind it... This girl comes up with a lie to get her friend (who had invited her camping) to leave her alone and stop pestering her about joining her family for the weekend... However, in doing so, she had to come up with an imaginary date with an imaginary boy... After the weekend, her friend asked her about her date and before she could protest or deny any further, her friend jumped to the conclusion that she had slept with her date (which was not true, seeing as the guy and the date was made-up)... However, she just played along with her friend and soon, the whole school thought that she had slept with some guy... Suddenly, she went from a normal, average teenager to BOOM! A popular girl... (Yes! I know... It may seem like those cliches in chick flicks... But there's more...) Anyway, she gets this whole new reputation and eventually winds up helping her gay friend... By pretending that she slept with him, so that he would no longer be given a hard time in school for being gay... After that, everyone who heard about how she helped her friend started approaching her for help... (Yup3... She gets paid to pretend and lie to the school for them...) The thing about lies is that it would come back to haunt you one way or another in the future... And it did for her... Well, it wasn't in the far future but rather a few weeks later... When people started to hate her, she was the one who got hurt not the people she lied for... And when that happened, no one was there to help her... Not even one... The only one who showed support was a guy she lied for about kissing her in the 10th Grade... Oh, and guess what? Yes... She ends up with him... Aww... How sweet?! Haha... XD

The only guy who actually believed her side of the story and did not believe in the rumours... Yes, she ends up with HIM! This guy (above)!!!~The moral of the story: Lies would just keep growing and growing unless you put a stop to it... And in the end of the day, the only one who gets hurt might be you... So, bear in mind that helping friends maybe swell and all but try not to let it consume who you are... If they're really your friends, they would not ask you to do anything that might put you in harms way... ~
