Penang...

It's been a year since I last been to Penang... I kind of miss it... When I was last there, my dad planned the most awesome trip ever!!! I'm sorry if I sound like I'm bragging but I really think that the trip to Penang was a really AWESOME one!!! Anyway, he planned to take us hiking for two days in a row... (This may not sound cool to some people but it's really COOL for me...) On the first day, we hiked to an island nearby to have a look at the meramautic lake... The lake really intrigued me because the salt water from the sea and the fresh water from the jungle met but they didn't mix... During the hike there, we saw a black dog in the jungle who sort of lead the way to the lake... (I understand if you find that hard to believe but the dog really did lead the way... Haha)... When we got there, we took a bite and played on the beach not in the sea because a man (from a group of people who were having some company game) was stung by a jellyfish... Haha... Yes, I WAS simply terrified & petrified!!! I was really afraid to enter the sea after that... Anyhow, after an hour or so, a fisherman that we've paid to come & get us back to the mainland arrived in his boat arrived & waited at the jetty nearby... We hopped on the boat & went back for some rest before the hike the very next day...
The next day, we took the same boat to the same island, only we were on the north (or was it south?) side of the island... We got there & hiked up to the lighthouse located aboth 15km up the hill... When we got there, we got the permission from the guy in charge & climbed up to the top of the lighthouse... The view was spectacular & breathtaking... I was in awe... Anyway, while up there, we manage to spot at least 7 eagles (They looked so graceful & free)... Not long later, we hiked down to the beach to wait for my mum & uncle who could not join us for the hike due to a conference... When they got there, we had a nice little barbeque prepared by the fishrman's wife... We even had lobster!!! Courtesy of my uncle... Haha... After eating the parents wanted to chill out, so my dad brought my cousin, Shaun, my sister & I for some water sports... JETSKIING!!! We had a blast but my sister was much wilder than I was on the jetski... She was going extremely FAST!!! I think my sister has a need for speed... Anyway, when we were done, th fisherman brought us all to the middle of the sea for some fishing... It was pretty awesome but I felt kind of sorry for the fishes... But I did manage to catc a few... Haha... Anyhow, on the way back after the fishing, the fisherman allowed my cousin to drive us back... Which was kind of nice of him seeing as my cousin is only 10... Haha... In other words, I MISS IT!!!

FIRIM...

Have you ever heard of FIRIM? Well, if you haven't then I'll fill you in a little about it... It's located in Kepong & it's actually a reserved forest... It's expended since I was last there but I'll quite certain that it's still the same (more or less)... Anyway, I went there some time back with my family & cousins... It was really quite exciting & fun... Well, if you like hiking, climbing & bugs... Oh & of course, if you REALLY love nature... There's a waterfall there along with a canopy walk & if you're really interested get this... There's also a jungle trail instead of the same old boring steps... I mean there are steps but the jungle trail is more for people who want a bit of thrill because the trail is not really that challenging... Haha... Anyways, the water from the waterfall is quite refreshing... I know because I was walking in & out of it... I was busy splashing my sister... Yes, I know I sound a little cruel but I couldn't resist!!! Lol...

Secret Love?!

Hey, read this story it's kind of interesting... All right, it's about two of my friends who I hold quite close to heart... They met not too long ago... The guy is extremely cool, laid back & sweet kind of person... Whereas, the girl is kind, nice and just super cool... They're both equally awesome!!! Anyways, they started talking about little things like school and stuff through the phone and got to know each other much better... Now, they both really, really like one another but they've decided to take it slow... Yea!!! You should really see them, they're so SWEET!!! But it's sort of discreet as they want to keep a low profile... So I can't tell you who they are... But I can say something and that is, if you're from my school you would not know them... Haha... They're not from any of our usual crowd... However, if you guys are reading this, I want to say that I'm totally behind you!!!

Holiday!!!

Yea!!! Finally!!! The 2 weeks I've been waiting for since the exam began... I feel so relieved... Well, not exactly, every time I think about laying back to relax, the fact that SPM is approaching everyday is at the back of mind... Like a little alarm clock, blaring softly but the ringing is slowly ascending every single day... I feel like I'm losing my mind!!! Let's hope that I'll be able to hang in there til then without losing my sanity!!! Haha...

Being hooked on NLT!!!

Oh dear! I have a major problem! I think I'm totally hooked on NLT (Not Like That)... I mean I know they're sort of a last year's all the rage band but I'm still hooked on them or rather their music... It's just so good... How are people able to write music and lyrics at the same time? I mean I've come up with a little something myself but I can't seem to play it on any instrument so far... I might need some help for that... HaX2... Anyway, moving on... I hope I can get over them soon or maybe being hooked on them isn't such a bad thing... I could use their music as a sort of inspiration... Yep, that's a good idea... Now, just to practice what I preach... HaX2... Now, that's the challenge for me... To actually follow my plan and not procrastinate or modify it along the way... Wish me luck!!!

Adam Lambert vs Kris Allen!!!

The results came out yesterday & I was sort of shocked when I heard it...KRIS ALLEN IS THE WINNER OF AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 8!!! 'Cause for one thing Adam Lambert has been said to be a better singer compared to Kris... But I have to say that even though I was 100 percent with Adam Lambert, Kris Allen is also an amazing singer... Oh, what am I saying?! They're both great... They bring different varieties in their music that keeps us (the audience & fans) both guessing and entertained...

The results came out live between 8a.m. to 10a.m. yesterday, while I was still in school... The curiosity was slowly building up in me as I took my maths exam (yes, I know I was suppose to be concentrating...)... Anyway, as soon as the exam ended, I talked to friend, Alex and found out that his mum was watching the show as we speak... So I suggested that he called her to find out because we really wanted to know... (Alex: Kris IS sure to win! Me: No way! I want Adam to win!)... When he called his mum and got the results I was sitting in my classroom casually going through my notes before the exam (so I wasn't there to scream in mock anger)... Anyway, my friend dashed to my class with the results and (literally) shouted it at me... (Alex: KRIS ALLEN WON!!! Me: What???!!! No way!!! I can't believe it! Alex:You better believe it!!!)

I went on twitter yesterday and found a video interview of Adam Lambert after the results... Well, I'll have to say that he took it better than I did (and he's the one who's performing...)... Oh, and there's also news that Danny Gokey is currently working on releasing an album... Oh, I can't wait... I hope Adam & Kris would each release one too...

New friends!!!

I know I've bragged too much for today... But hey, I hardly ever update my blog so I'm just doing this in advance... HeX2... Anyway, straight to the point... I wanted to tell about some extremely (& majorly) cool people I've met in January but got a chance to know them much better now... They're actually in my tuition center... They're amazing & I think you would agree if you ever meet them... They're really friendly, welcoming & well...nice... I haven't really gotten to know all of them but the ones I've met are cool... Besides that, they sure know how to crack up the crowd when gts a little too serious... There are three girls I've met... Taksha, Karthiga & Thenmoli... They all have something different to show... Like Taksah is so hilarious at times it gets hard NOT to laugh... (Man, can that girl crack a joke!!!) Then, there's Karthiga who is also quite funny at times... But she's sweet too... Thenmoli IS a pure genius!!! Actually ALL three of them are!!! Then, the guys I've gotten to know are Haiqal, James, Lum Chee Meng & Fazarul (is it the correct spelling?) They're also quite amazing... Fazarul & sometimes Haiqal too... are always doing crazy stuff to keep things more chilled when we all get a little serious... Wait a minute... ALL the four guys listed above do that... Whoops!!! Anyway, through Karthiga, I've got a chance to meet a really talented guy... He really IS creative... His drawings are undeniably AWESOME!!! I know that because I had a little contests with him & discovered that he's GOOD at what he does... So I've decided to take my place humbly... HeX2... Oh well, maybe I'll be able to get some help from him when I'm designing cards... Lol... All right, I've got to go now... Fare thee well... or however they say it in acting!!! Adios...

Pressure?!

I don't think I'm alone when I say I'm feeling extremely stressed right now... Am I able to do this? Will I get it? All these questions are rolling in my mind like some sort of tidal wave... Oh dear!!! What am I to do? I can't seem to tell anyone because... Guess what? They're all under stress as well... I feel so alone even when it's clear that I'm not... I just wish life in Malaysia was NOT so stressful... People in England were so cool... I wonder what great change has occurred since I was last there... It's been 5 nearing 6 years in October this year... I really would love to return there but I think I'm gonna miss Malaysia a great deal now as all my beloved FRIENDS are here... Hmm... Who knows I might or might not return there someday... However, until then I've gotta FOCUS!!! On my erm... examination... >gulp< SPM!!! Oh wow!!! That was majorly scary!!!

Ice Skating Lessons....

Here's the story... During the long school holiday, my dad decided that we (my sister, two friends and I) could take part in some ice skating lessons. The lessons takes place in Sunway Pyramid (Yes, the shopping mall...) for 5 lessons... The first class was really interesting as I finally managed to fight some of the demons (literally) on the ice.... Anyways, the lessons have passed a long time ago since December actually... Guess what?! I went skating again in January with my cousins and felt more confident!!! Awesome!!! I felt so happy that I couldn't even stop smiling.... Seriously, I was grinning like... I don't know... An insane person... Radical!!! I know!!! I didn't stop even when I nearly fell down a couple of times... HaX2... Anyways, I have two AMAZING friends to thank... Oh & my sis too... They really pushed me to my limits by making it extremely funny and awesome... Btw, they were such quick learners that I started pushing myself to try & catch up... Anyway, it been ages since I last stepped on the ice... So I'm keeping my fingers crossed in hope that my fears won't slowly creep back... HaX2...
